Drastically lowering calories will allow you to lose a lot of weight in the beginning, but over time you will stop losing weight and your metabolism will crash. One way to manage this is to eat just enough to be satisfied when you are hungry, and then stop. Wait until you are hungry again and then eat another small portion. Reading about healthy habits and creating healthy habits are two entirely different things. Sometimes we get caught in the trap of reading about how we can make our lives healthier, yet we don’t take the steps to implement those healthy practices into our every day lives.
